Awais Leghari take on contradictions of Imran Khan’s politics

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif says anti-development forces will not succeed to create hurdles in the way of progress of the country.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Awais Ahmed Leghari Tuesday criticized Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf chief Imran Khan for his dual stance on every issue and contradictions in his political life.

Imran Khan’s statement about Sheikh Rasheed was known to all and now PTI chief nominated him as candidate of the prime minister, he said talking to a private news channel.

He said Imran Khan was not even sincere with Sheikh Rasheed as he was not present in the Parliament to cast vote to him.

In the past, Imran Khan had stated that he did not believe in politics of electables and PTI would not accept such politicians but it never happened and all such people were part of PTI, he said.

Entire politics of PTI leadership was only against PML-N, he said.

The MNA said it was a positive sign that democracy was on its track in the country as newly elected prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbsai had taken the oath of his office.

The newly elected prime minister expressed his determination to work for development and progress of the country, he said.

To a question, the MNA said after allegations levelled by PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai on Imran Khan, Shireen Mazari should not have hold a press conference as she herself had faced such situation in the past.
